A design pattern in architecture and computer science is a formal way of documenting a solution to a design problem in a particular field of expertise. "Each pattern describes a problem which occurs over and over again in our environment, and then describes the core of the solution to that problem, in such a way that you can use this solution a million times over, without ever doing it the same way twice."

EATS: A development zone is a conceptual scheme for the segmentation and management of repository content that is under development. Multiple development zones may exist at the same time, and development zones may be arranged in a non-overlapping hierarchical fashion.

58: A delineated context, a scope or area of study, with well defined boundaries such that one can ascertain whether related elements are included, or excluded, as members or parts.
