The manner in which an object acts and relates to other objects. The manner in which an object responds to a stimulus.

A term used to describe a hierarchical parts inventory involving one or more levels of composition. At each level of a component the parts are enumerated by identifying the number and type of the parts used to assemble the component. When one or more of those parts constitute sub-assemblies, the process repeats until only atomic parts are identified.

The activity of socially organizing toward the accomplishment of a productive goal, usually for a profit. Also, an organization of people performing this activity.
