Introduction to This Document

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to describe the standardized viewpoint collection used in the creation of Architecture Descriptions for the Element Architecture Tool Suite (EATS). The use of a standardized collection of viewpoints, representing the concerns of a uniform set of stakeholders provides for consistency in the development of the architecture across a wide set of subsystems.

Audience

The primary audiences for this document include:

  • Joe Van Steen as the author of the EATS concept.
  • The Architected Futures™ Community of Practice (AFCoP) members.
  • Developers and stakeholders of related systems that may desire to interface with Architected Futures™ technology or products.

This document is organized into the following major divisions:
